M8 Recovery is a family-run, independent car recovery and towing company that has been operating since 2000, when it started with one truck. Its fleet of over 30 specialist recovery and transport vehicles, including service vans, slide beds, spec lifts, medium and heavy recovery vehicles, and low loaders, is overseen by Transport Manager Alex Gillies M.I.L.T. The company serves Central Scotland and surrounding areas, as well as all of Scotland and beyond where needed.
It is fully certified and compliant with DVSA and health & safety legislation, and operates ISO-level processes. Staff hold Driver CPC and recovery training. M8 Recovery holds full public liability and goods in transit insurance. It is trusted by local councils, national fleets and insurers. The company operates a full in-house workshop for repairs and maintenance.

I cannot thank the team at M8 Recovery enough for their incredible help when we broke down on the M8 on the 4th of July. After contacting the RAC, M8 Recovery was dispatched, and the service we received was second to none. Andrew arrived first and was absolutely fantastic. He was quickly followed by Daryl with his flatbed truck. Both of them were incredibly professional, reassuring, and took great care of us, ensuring we got all the way home safely. They are an absolute credit to your company! Also, a huge shoutout to Kris, the legend! 😂 Breaking down is always stressful, but these guys turned a nightmare situation into a smooth, hassle-free experience. Outstanding professionalism and brilliant customer care. Highly recommended!
