Scrap Car Recycle (SCR) is a Yorkshire-based scrap vehicle buying company. It specialises in end-of-life vehicles, non-runners, MOT failures, damaged cars, and unwanted vehicles. SCR is a fully licensed Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) registered with the Environment Agency. It handles all DVLA paperwork on behalf of customers and provides a Certificate of Destruction as proof that the vehicle has been scrapped legally.

SCR recycles over 95% of every vehicle. The service area includes Bradford, West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire. It offers free collection across Bradford, West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire. Payment is made instantly on collection, usually by bank transfer. Main services include scrap car collection and recycling.

Scrap Car Recycle (SCR) collects scrap vehicles around Bradford, and the accounts left by customers return again and again to how swiftly the whole arrangement moves. A collection within half an hour or a couple of hours of the first enquiry is described by several people, including one job where the car sat in an awkward spot without working brakes. The procedure itself is set out in similar terms: photographs of the vehicle are sent over, a figure is agreed, a time is fixed, and the car is gone and settled before the owner is back from work.

A number of reviews mention fair quotations, with payment completed on the spot or through a bank transfer once the vehicle has been taken away. Callbacks come immediately, promised times are honoured, and the men doing the work are described as friendly and straightforward, with Aiden and Aaron both singled out for their assistance. Freedom from fuss runs through the feedback, and one customer recalls a mobile phone left behind in a car being returned without any hesitation, which was received with real gratitude. The impression left is of collection handled promptly and tidily, with nothing needing to be chased.
