Car.co.uk — Scrap My Car Bristol

I wanted to share my recent experience with Motorwise and car.co.uk. Last week, my car engine developed a problem, and I requested a quotation to sell it for scrap. I received a quotation for £3020 from the company. I then organized a collection appointment for Tuesday morning and adjusted my work schedule to be available. I accurately described the car's condition, stating that the interior and exterior were in perfect order. Upon the scheduled collection, I received multiple calls requesting pictures, which I promptly sent. Subsequently, the company reduced their offer to £1900, citing the engine problem. This was a condition I had already disclosed, as my intention was to sell the car for scrap, not for repair. This experience with the company was a waste of my time, and I would not recommend their services. In my opinion, they acted unprofessionally and attempted to take advantage of the situation

Very straight forward from contacting to removal of the car,driver phoned me 10 minutes before he arrived,payment was instant straight into my bank account,would recommend to anyone that has a scrap car

Decent price for my car all things considered. Communication was very good and as long as you got the bits they require it's all very smooth and simple. I would certainly use this company again if I needed to scrap another vehicle
