Leeds Car Recovery

Leeds Car Recovery is a family-run business. Richard is the owner. He bought his first recovery vehicle at age 19 and is now 47. Richard has been in the motor trade most of his working life. Josh has been around cars and the motor trade all his life.

The business is based in Leeds 12, less than 2 miles from Leeds City Centre and a short distance from the M621, M1 and M62 motorway network. It provides vehicle breakdown and accident recovery, A to B vehicle transport, and contract work for garages and other organisations.

Breakdowns and long-distance tows across Leeds are handled by a team that customers describe as quick to respond and easy to deal with. Several reviewers note that help arrived within twenty minutes to an hour of calling, whether for a motorbike, a car with a failed engine or a vehicle needing transport to a garage. A theme running through the feedback is the fairness of the quote given over the phone, with no suggestion of the figure changing once work began.

Richard is named by more than one customer for his friendly manner and clear explanation of the fault, and the wider team is repeatedly praised for its professional and helpful approach. Longer journeys, including a tow to Hull and another to a Mercedes garage, are described as safe and well organised, with photographs sent to confirm delivery. Practical touches also feature, such as winding up windows, supplying and fitting a replacement battery at a reduced rate, and giving a driver a lift home. The recurring impression is of a stressful situation made calmer by punctual, knowledgeable and personable assistance.
