Bristol Recovery

Bristol Recovery is a Bristol-based small business that has been operating for over ten years. It employs a team of fully qualified and experienced vehicle recovery operators. The company provides vehicle recovery, towing, transport and removal services.

It transports a wide range of vehicles including crashed and damaged cars, prestige and classic automobiles, commercial vehicles, long wheel-based vans, large vehicles up to 3.5 tonne, boats, trailers, tractors and motorcycles. Bristol Recovery takes away end of life cars and vans to be recycled or scrapped. It serves Bristol and the South West.

Vehicle transportation and recovery work across Bristol keeps this operator busy, and reviewers repeatedly praise how quickly a driver is dispatched. Accounts describe arrivals inside half an hour, with one customer noting the response beat a national breakdown service. The driver, named by reviewers as Mo, comes in for consistent praise as friendly, skilled and willing to explain the fault so owners grasp what failed. One thing mentioned again and again is pricing: quotes are described as transparent and reasonable, sometimes far lower than figures other firms had given.

Jobs mentioned include extracting a long-wheelbase Boxer van from a tight location and collecting a broken-down car before delivering it to a garage recommended for repair. Customers describe punctuality, a professional manner, careful handling of the vehicle and straightforward dealings by phone and on arrival. Longer transfers, such as one from Bristol to Preston, are recalled as running smoothly from collection through to delivery, and the same firm is what several owners say they would call again in the same situation.
