Scrap My Car & Van in Coventry

Scrap My Car & Van in Coventry buys cars and vans in any condition, including MOT failures, accident-damaged vehicles, non-runners and high-mileage cars. It collects scrap cars and vans across Coventry and nearby areas, regularly from Coventry city centre, Foleshill, Radford, Holbrooks, Coundon, Earlsdon, Tile Hill, Canley, Binley, Stoke, Wyken, Walsgrave and nearby surrounding areas. Customers can either arrange collection or drop off the vehicle themselves.

The company offers instant quotes, free collection and fast payment, and pays cash same day. It helps customers with the necessary DVLA paperwork. A purchase receipt is provided. A Certificate of Destruction can be provided where applicable if the vehicle is permanently scrapped. Every vehicle bought is assessed individually after purchase and may be repaired, broken for parts, sold through the trade or responsibly recycled at an authorised vehicle recycling facility.

Drivers in Coventry whose vehicles have broken down or reached the end of their useful life have turned to this scrap metal dealer, and the accounts are consistently positive about the collection and disposal service. A recurring theme is the speed of the operation, with several customers describing a WhatsApp enquiry answered almost immediately with a price and a collection arranged within an hour, in one instance for a car that could not be driven. Reviewers often mention that payment was made in cash on the spot and that the figure quoted beforehand was honoured on inspection rather than being reduced once the vehicle had been seen.

Communication by text and messaging is singled out for its clarity and friendliness, and a named member of staff, Harry, is described as informative and professional when gathering details about a car. Paperwork and documentation are reported to be taken care of as part of the collection, sparing customers further effort. The conduct of the people involved comes up often, with polite and helpful behaviour noted, and one account recalls a scrap yard that accepted a vehicle others had turned away.
