It shears large and high-volume material to permissible size for remelting. It hand sorts smaller, more complex items. It strips cable and bales various grades for easier handling. It depollutes cars and vans to make them safe for baling and transport. The company's scales and weighbridge are independently monitored and calibrated by experienced suppliers. It offers scrap collection and procurement services, including gate trade and collections via fleet.

Several reviewers highlight the prices paid for scrap as fair and competitive, with one noting that the rates were better than expected, while others mention that the yard itself is kept clean and orderly, making it easy to unload and sort materials.

Staff come in for particular praise, with Simon in the yard singled out for helping customers unload and sort their metal, and the reception team noted for processing arrivals quickly. A number of reviews mention the friendliness and encouragement of the people they dealt with, as well as the constructive advice offered over the phone and in person. The efficiency of the response to enquiries is a point that comes up often, with customers describing quick turnaround from first call to completed transaction.

Vehicles are accepted and weighed without fuss, and the general experience of dealing with the company is described as straightforward and pleasant.
