Greater London Towing - Tooting

Greater London Towing is a car recovery and towing company operating in London and the Greater London area. It has many years of experience in the industry. The company operates a fleet of 3.5 ton and 7.5 ton vehicles. It works with engineers, mechanics and tow truck drivers. Services offered include car recovery, van recovery, motorcycle recovery, roadside assistance, tyre change, vehicle transportation, keyless recovery, lifting service and scrap car removals.

Tooting is the area this recovery and towing operator serves, and the accounts left by customers centre on how breakdowns are handled when a vehicle cannot be driven any further. Several reviewers describe collection arranged for the very same day, and a driver turning up within the window that had been quoted. Work taken on at short notice features heavily, including a late-night call in cold weather and a car that had come to rest in a gas works trench crossing a busy Wandsworth road.

Moss is singled out for setting up a same-day pickup, with friendly treatment and straightforward communication noted alongside. A point that comes up often is the calm manner of the driver, called reassuring and efficient when the situation was stressful, with the invoice dealt with on the spot and confirmation given after the car was delivered to the garage. Charges for longer runs, among them a trip to Brighton, are described as fair, and care with a larger Volvo is mentioned more than once.
