Scrap Cars & Metals Cardiff

Scrap Cars & Metals Cardiff is a motor vehicle and metal scrap dealer based in Cardiff, established for over 15 years as a vehicle removal and recycling centre. It serves clients across South Wales, including the Vale of Glamorgan, Newport, Gwent, Caerphilly, Chepstow, Swansea, Bristol and Carmarthen. The company collects scrap cars, MOT failures, abandoned cars and damaged vehicles, and buys and collects ferrous scrap such as iron, cast iron, steel and scrap vehicles, as well as non-ferrous scrap such as copper, brass and aluminium.

It processes vehicles and documents in accordance with ELV government guidelines and provides a Certificate of Destruction with all scrapped vehicles. It also purchases catalytic converters. Vehicles are collected daily around Cardiff and its surrounding areas, and a prompt, polite service is provided to individuals and to organizations of any size. Main services are scrap car collection and scrap metal purchasing.

Scrap car buying and metal recycling in Cardiff form the core of what this breaker and recycling centre offers, according to the accounts left by customers. One reviewer describes finding the website while searching for a buyer for an old, worn-out car, and reports that the vehicle was collected within an hour of making contact, with a price described as better than expected. The same account notes that the necessary government certificate was supplied to confirm the car had been properly disposed of, a detail the customer had not realised was required.

That theme of a straightforward sale, with the buyer handling the paperwork and removing the vehicle on the spot, recurs in the feedback. The service is presented as covering end-of-life cars and scrap metal, with collection arranged after an enquiry. Balanced against this, other accounts mention difficulty getting through by telephone and an online quote form that could not be submitted, and one customer questions whether the vehicle was actually located at the address listed. These points about contact and location come up alongside the praise for prompt collection and fair pricing.
