Had the best possible experience with Jim, we were already having a hugely stressful day moving houses in a long wheel base van rental, when we tried going into a carpark with a really tight corner and slammed the side of the van into an unseen bollard. I wish we had called Jim at that point, but we tried to manoeuvre out and only managed to get even closer to the wall where if we moved any more we’d be scraping against the wall itself. I called the first north London tow truck company that came up on google search and the admin immediately put me through to a driver (Jim). I sent whatsapp pictures, a video to confirm the truck would fit where we were stuck, and our location, and Jim gave me a (really reasonable) price and said he’d be with me in 30ish minutes. 33 minutes later there he was, and immediately got to work. In my head I was wishing the hand of god would just reach out and lift the back wheels away from the direction of the wall, so we could reverse, but had no clue how a tow truck would achieve that. We really thought he would just pull and the van would scrape and that would be that. But no! With a series of pulleys and plastic strips slid under the back wheels, he managed to create an insane amount of clearance between the wall and the van and neatly pulled us out without even a speck more damage to the van. All in all, from the moment of the accident to when we were back on the road, it was only an hour. Jim was professional, there when he said he would be, stuck to his quote, and very skilled at what he did. I’ll be saving his number and recommending the company to all my friends and family.
