Breakdown Recovery Service Stevie Wood Recovery

Stevie Wood Recovery is a family-run vehicle recovery business based in Edinburgh. The business has years of experience serving the local community. It provides breakdown recovery for cars, vans, and 4x4s, and offers vehicle towing across Edinburgh and surrounding areas. Services include jump starts, accident recovery, and wrong fuel recovery with fuel drainage.

The service area covers Edinburgh City Centre, Leith, Portobello, Musselburgh, Dalkeith, Bonnyrigg, Loanhead, Penicuik, Gilmerton, Liberton, Morningside, and all surrounding areas within the Lothians. Stevie Wood Recovery is fully insured and works with insurance companies for accident recovery.

Motorists whose cars or vans have broken down, and families arranging transport for a vehicle between towns, describe a service defined by speed and dependability. Stevie Wood is named repeatedly in accounts as turning up when promised, frequently within a very short window of the call, and several accounts note his flexibility when a receiving garage was not yet ready, delaying the drop-off rather than leaving the car stranded. Loading and delivery are described as careful, with vehicles secured on the truck without damage.

Fair pricing is a point that comes up often, with quotes called reasonable and competitive, including for late-night call-outs. Communication features throughout, from a prompt reply and quote through to a text confirming the car had reached the garage. Customers also note his friendly and professional manner, and a family from Spain describes the treatment their daughter received while her car was brought from Edinburgh to Stirling as perfect. The work covered in the accounts includes breakdown recovery, towing and moving cars and vans to garages.
