My engine light came on at 4am, I called to get some reassurance as I was very concerned I was about to break down. Just got met with blunt answers and palmed off.
Brilliant guys. Came out in good time. Professional, and kind. Tow driver went a bit extra for me and parked car up as I was a little shaken. Appreciated.
Can’t recommend Baileyfield Garage highly enough. I was in a tight spot due to my electric car shutting down unexpectedly and David went out of his way to help me out.
I called their breakdown line, got voicemail, left my name and number, and was never called back (this is the key point - I was never called back). Luckily I wasn't stuck somewhere. They also behave like 12-year-olds when responding to reviews apparently. I guess the message to take from the reply is that if you reach their answer phone, you shouldn't expect a call back.
Amazing service - my car broke down in a car park in Edinburgh. David was so patient and my car was up and running again after a quick fix. Such a friendly, helpful guy, cannot recommend Baileyfield enough!
I wanted to share my experience of David and Baileyfield Garage. I would thoroughly recommend them. I had a complex, multi-stop relocation / removal of precision heavy machine tools. After a few discussions with David, we came up with a solid plan. David was very patient and understanding of the issues associated with a move like this. I felt like my property was in good hands. He expertly manoeuvred the items safely and without incident. Many other garages would have turned away or given up, but David came up with solutions to get the job done. He stayed late to complete the job. He even helped me manually lift and crowbar the machines into position (something that no other provider would help with). I am very grateful for his services, and I would not have been able to get the move done without him. Always pleasant and accomodating. Would 100% recommend.
So grateful for the help I got from Baileyfield Garage today. Plate underneath car fell down when in town so I couldn’t drive. I had both my toddler and my dog in the car so was pretty stressed. They were helpful as always and got to me quickly to make sure I could get home safely. Will continue to use their services in the future (although hopefully I don’t break down again anytime soon!).
