Edinburgh Vehicle Recovery

Edinburgh Vehicle Recovery is owned by Iain Graham, who bought his first recovery truck in 1987. The company operates as EVR2U. It provides breakdown recovery in and around Edinburgh, Fife and the Lothians, and transports and drives vehicles all over the UK. Daily checks are performed on all vehicles and equipment. Repairs and servicing are offered.

Vehicle recovery and towing work around Edinburgh and further afield draws consistently warm accounts from those who have used the service. Iain emerges as the figure most often named, described as friendly, efficient and professional from the first call through to the vehicle being dropped off, with safety placed above all else during loading and transport. Reviewers repeatedly mention how quickly help arrives, sometimes within the hour of a breakdown, and how calmly and without hassle a stricken vehicle is shifted.

The pricing is a recurring theme, described as fair, reasonable and clear, with no sense of being overcharged for an emergency call-out. Transport work covers a broad range: a broken-down van carried to a garage in East Kilbride, a car collected from the Sheriffhall park and ride and returned home, a vehicle taken to a dealership in Glasgow, and one driven to Newcastle without any drama. A Mercedes Sprinter with major engine failure is cited as being moved without fuss, and drivers value the mechanical advice offered on the spot, with many saying this would be the first call if trouble struck again.
